Software Installation Festival for Saturday's New Orleans Functional Club Clojure Workshop

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

New Orleans Functional Club is hosting a free Clojure Workshopon Saturday!

We will have a mandatory install festival the evening before, on this Friday. It is required that you attend to set up your laptop so that we can start right away Saturday morning. It will be between 6 and 8 pm on October 14.

We've got limited seats available and it will be awesome. We certainly want to invite everyone who's interested in learning Clojure to come!

We are committed to making this workshop a safe and supportive environment for beginners. We have a strong Code of Conduct that we strictly enforce. We welcome people of all backgrounds and seek to create an inclusive workshop.

The workshop is a hands-on, intensive, all-day event. We'll serve breakfast in the morning, learn and code till lunch, then continue on until the end. Then there will be an after party where you can meet companies that are looking to hire in Clojure and otherwise mingle with each other.

Breakfast, lunch, and coffee/snacks are provided by our wonderful sponsors, as is the after party. The space is provided by Newcomb College Institute of Tulane University.

Requirements:

• You need to bring a Windows, Mac, or Linux laptop.
